Zahara again denies 'alcoholism' and 'broke' reports

Johannesburg - Zahara has dismissed reports that she's "broke" and "addicted to the bottle".

Last Friday Drum magazine reported that the songbird's alleged drinking problem took a turn for the worst, when Zahara was apparently denied access onto a flight overseas because she was allegedly too drunk.

The magazine's sources claimed that she missed a show in Birmingham as a result.

Just two days after the magazine hit the streets, Zahara found herself on the front page of Sunday World. The newspaper reported that she is on the brink of losing her posh Little Falls home due to being in arrears.

Following the string of reports, Zahara took to Facebook to set the record straight for her fans.

She told her fans not to believe everything they read. "As I said before I'm fine intact more than fine I left the bottles mouth months ago after finally getting better from depression of my brothers death. As for "thrown out of a flight to England" REALLY?!, " Zahara wrote.

The songbird added that she has no time for "lies" and "rumours" as she's busy working on the release of her third album.

It's not the first time these allegations have been made against her. Just last month it was reported that friends and family were concerned because of her alleged drinking.

Here's her reaction:
