Johannesburg- Generations: The Legacy producers have on Monday afternoon asked the public to give actor Rapulana Seiphemo's family privacy to deal with the trauma, as the actor fights for his life at Milpark Hospital.
The actor was rushed to hospital by paramedics after being involved in a near fatal car crash near Diepsloot on Sunday night.
News of the accident first emerged on Monday morning, however details surrounding it were sketchy at the time.
ER24 confirmed through a statement that two men were killed and four others were critically injured after two vehicles collided on the N14. Two of the patients were declared dead on the scene, while the others were airlifted to hospital.
The SABC issued the following statement:
"Rapulana Seiphemo, the actor who plays Tau Mogale has unfortunately been in an accident. He is however recovering in a Johannesburg hospital. We would like to request that we all afford the family space to deal with the trauma, Rapulana is a fighter, he'll definitely pull through."
Meanwhile, it has been reported that family members at the hospital are still waiting for feedback from doctors about Rapulana's condition.
