Cape Town – Al Bairre, Shortstraw and December Streets are currently on a Euro Safari together, and they’ve been sharing every minute of it on their social accounts.
The bands kicked off their tour with a show in Berlin, which was followed by a show in London and this past weekend they performed in Brighton at The Great Escape Festival, where they were also joined by Beatenberg. The bands will be ending off their tour with a gig at Melkweg in Amsterdam on Wednesday, 25 May
Apart from playing some live music, the bands have also been documenting their experiences on their Instagram and Facebook pages.
This is what they've been sharing:
In matching travel tracksuits, Al Bairre took to Instagram on the day they left SA promising to release 1 minute episodes of #albairredailydiaries every single day on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. And so far, they've kept their word...
?? EURO SAFARI ?? We're about to board our flight over to the old country. Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Brighton, Augsburg, Switzerland and Cannes!!! We made travel tracksuits so our Jeremy doesn't lose us. That strapping young lad to the right of sleeping beauty over there is Sweet Lu. He's our camera man and we're gonna be using his craft to release 1 minute episodes of #albairredailydiaries every single day on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook starting tomorrow. Very exciting. Okay we gotta go. The air hostess looks livid. @totallykyletotally x @rightonluke x @matchingfaces x @nicholaspreen x @jeremymoyle x @tomkotze ?? ~ @samwellssamwells

DAILY DIARIES #3 'The Great Trek' We really got to see the whole of Berlin because our Jeremy can read a map about as well as as the 3 blind mice. We also played our first show of the whole tour!!! Was sooo fun. Sorry this is so late. We couldn't get Kyle up. He comes from a long line of late sleepers. His father is a late sleeper and his father's father was a late sleeper. We're going to a park now ?? Ryan Seacrests: @matchingfaces & @totallykyletotally Film & edit: @rightonluke #eurosafari #albairredailydiaries
Browsing through Beatenberg’s Instagram, we’d have to say the highlight of their trip was probably when they performed on BBC2’s Later with Jools Holland. The joined the stage once again with Mumford & Sons, Baaba Maal and The Very Best for the song Wona. We can't wait for their EP Johannesburg to drop in June!

These Jozi boys also shared snaps from their tour and thanked all the South African and English fans as they played a second sold out show in London.
Last night was just to die for. A sold out club show in London is just the biggest treat a band like us could ask for. @decemberstreets and @albairre killed it. The saffas came out and gave us lots of love! Moments before this photo was taken, tom cut the cheese. Al knows it, Gad has his suspicions.
The lads have also been sharing some short videos to document their tour. Check out a few of them here:
