Family, friends and fans paid their last respects to veteran actor Roland Bantubonke Mqwebu

The words "Let him go,  Imihlola kaJames" transcended the realm of fiction into real life.

Not even the scriptwriters could have anticipated that this famous line orginally spoken by Roland Bantubonke Mqwebu, better known as Mkhize in the SABC 1 hit sitcom Emzine Wezinsizwa, would be recited at his funeral.

But the mood soon changed to soft smiles and laughter as snippets of Roland's life played out on the big screens.
