The 59th Annual Grammy Awards were broadcasted live on CBS from Los Angeles on Sunday night and Adele has been the talk of town after being honoured five times for her latest album.

We look at some of the highlights of the event:

Nabbing the Album of the Year category, Adele paid tribute to her idol, Beyoncé Knowles. She broke her award into two and gave Bey a piece and said: “ThisLemonade album was just so monumental”. Talk about being modest.

Beyoncé was rocking a red sparkling dress looking peri peri hot with her baby bump, following her pregnancy announcement last week. The Sorry hit maker performed on stage while cradling her stomach. She also accepted the Best Urban Contemporary Album award for Lemonade on stage.

Meanwhile, Chance The Rapper, bagged the awards for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance. The beau also performed the song How Great? All We Go.

The event was jam-packed with performances, tributes, speeches and collaborations from the cream of the music world.
