Alleged casino conwoman in court

A woman accused of stealing cash and jewellery from casino patrons while performing good luck rituals appeared briefly in the Durban Regional Court on Tuesday.

Nancy Shanelle Naidoo's case was postponed to May 14 for a pre-trial conference.

She allegedly approached gamblers and told them she could introduce them to a psychic who would improve their chances of winning.

In one case, a casino patron was robbed of cash and jewellery valued at over R1 million. She also allegedly drugged elderly people and robbed them
