Anderson, reached the third round at the All England Club for the first time, rose to a career-high 22nd in the latest ATP list released on Monday, report Sapa.

Kevin is South Africa's top-ranked player who entered the professional tournament at age 17 in SA.

At Wimbledon the 27-year-old South African lost in the 3rd round to world number six Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic.

This year’s Wimbledon title went to Brit Andy Murray after beating world number one Novak Djokovic in straight sets 6-4, 7-5, 6-4

Andy went straight into history books as the man who ended a 77-year British drought in this tournament since Fred Perry won the last of three in a row in 1936.
