Anonymous asks: I’m 16 years old and have had a crush on this boy for two years now. It was love at first sight and I can’t shake the feeling that he feels the same way. I’m tired of waiting for him to make a move. What shall I do? Must I tell him about how I feel? It’s making me ill! I’ve already been hospitalised once.

Sis Dolly answers: It’s up to you to decide whether or not this crush is appropriate. You don’t say anything more about him – is he at school with you? How old is he? Does he have a girlfriend? If there are reasons why it would be better to stay away from him, resist the urge to give him a sign that you’re interested in him. If there’s no good reason to hide your feelings any longer –  after all, you’ve waited for two years – you can risk letting him know you’ve got the hots for him. Just remember that he has also had two years to make a move – and he hasn’t. Ask yourself – why not? Is he shy and tentative just like you? Or is he simply not interested in you or not attracted to you? Perhaps the best move would be to try to get to know him better as a friend before you risk
