He's ready to pay lobolo for me...

I'm a woman in my 30s and I'm HIV-positive. Since I started my treatment I no longer have the desire for sex with my partner. He's ready to pay lobolo for me because he loves me and this is putting pressure on our relationship. What can I do to desire him like before?

Sis Dolly answers:

If your lack of desire for your partner is linked to the start of your treatment then I suggest you go to a medical practitioner and find out if this is a side effect. if it is, you should ask the health worker or doctor how long you can expect it to last so you can both work within that period and know if this is a temporary part of your lives together. Once you have this information, you can also find out ways to overcome this temporary setback. That way, you can both still enjoy whatever level of intimacy you might still have.
