Make-up artist to the stars, Clara Chimeloane is a professional and well-respected make-up artist from Soweto, Johannesburg.

Clara has worked on the many faces seen on South Africa's red carpets, the likes of Nomzamo Mbatha, Thembi Seete, Pearl Modiadie and she comes highly recommended by Bonang Matheba.

Clara started her career as a sales person at a beauty store while studying Cosmetology: "I was always very artistic, I could draw, paint and loved molding 3D art, so doing make-up came naturaly," she said.

Clara gives Tips and shares some techniques for the getting best possible make-up results:

1. Less is more - try to not over do it and apply too much make-up ,thick make up is not appealing instead it stains your clothes.

2. After a long day at work, your face starts becoming oily. Avoid reapplying powder as this clogs the paws which may result in all sorts of skin reactions. Instead blot your face with tissue.

3. Shape your eyebrows by cutting them with a razor, tweezing or using the threading method and after use a brow liner to shape. Do not hide them with concealer or too much eye shadow.

4. Ladies with small lips, avoid going over your lip liner with lipstick. Rather go all the way on your line not above.

5. Always blend your make-up - while some people prefer to use their fingers, there are brushes available to assist you with blending.
