Beyoncé continues to take control of her career.

First it was her eye-catching, sexy, surprise self-titled visual album; now she has reportedly fired her general manager, Faisal Durrani of Live Nation.

According to The Daily Mail, Beyoncé, 32, axed Durrani to manage her career with her husband, Jay Z.

Jay Z has been instrumental in Beyoncé’s career and even helped manage her high grossing Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, a source said.

A representative for the singer said, “Beyoncé has managed herself since 2010 under her company Parkwood Entertainment. Faisal Durrani worked for her as President for a very short time.”

Beyoncé set up Parkwood Entertainment in 2008.

Durrani isn’t the first manager the singer has gotten rid of. In 2011, Mrs. Carter fired her father Matthew Knowles, who had managed her career since her Destiny Child days.

TMZ reported that the starlet fired her dad because he stole funds from her. Knowles denied the reports. Beyoncé never publicly stated the reason behind the split.
