The film ‘Black Nativity’  has an A-List cast.

Comprised Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, Tyrese Gibson, Mary J Blige and Raphael Saadiq, in a story that depicts a family's unbreakable bond.

Director Kasi Lemmons' film is a tear-jerking musical drama, based off Langston Hughes' original play "I would say the story of this film means a lot to me because it brings family together," says musical producer Raphael Saadiq.

"And sometimes there’s a lot of trials and tribulations with families and everybody comes together through music which I think is very beautiful to me."

The inspirational family film follows the reflective journey of a Baltimore teen ( Jacob Latimore), whose mother is struggling to make ends meet and sends him to Harlem to spend Christmas with his estranged grandparents.
