Brickz the family man

It’s a far cry from his days of partying up a storm, but Brickz couldn’t be happier. He’s a changed man and lives for spending time with his son, daughter and wife.

He’s left his past behind and feels his new, positive outlook on life has made him a better person and, most importantly, a better father to his two young children. His career is also thriving and Brickz has a lot to celebrate.

His fourth and latest album, Ruffcast, has received a Metro FM nomination for Best Kwaito Album. The 31-year-old is over the moon. “The fact that I’m nominated means a lot to me. Winning would just be a bonus,” he says.

Brickz may have been out of the limelight for a while but he was busy with another project. Since leaving TS Records about three years ago, he started his own company, Brigado Music.
