Cassper Nyovest and Khuli Chana to collaborate?

The year 2016 seems to be a reconciliation one for Mzansi rappers.

Hot off the heels of AKA and Anatii's reconciliation, it would seem like Motswako rappers and old buddies Cassper Nyovest and Khuli Chana have buried the hatchet.

The two were allegedly not on speaking terms since Khuli was close to Cassper's arch rival, AKA.

That seems to be water under the bridge as the two iconic musicians spent time together on Monday at Cass' studio. It doesn't seem like it was just for the sake of hanging out. In a deleted tweet, Cassper told fans to watch out for new music from the duo, ending the tweet with the hashtag #Motswako. Chana also took to Twitter to big up his homie, exclaiming that he too is a believer, and encouraged fans to get tickets to Cassper's #FillUpOrlandoStadium concert. The concert is set to take place on 29 October.

On a greater scale, AKA's camp and Cassper's camp seem to be mending bridges. We hope that the generals themselves, AKA and Cass get to shake hands and collaborate, for the sake of peace, and for the sake of South African music.

Fans caught a wind of that and expressed joy at the news:
