From selling clothes in the back of his car to showing on world stages, Papy Kaluw seems to be making a mark in the fashion industry with his fashion label, Urban Zulu.

With 2 stores in Johannesburg CBD and 1 store at The Zone in Rosebank, this 37 year old is not backing down.

With many designers using African print, Urban Zulu seems to have taken it to new heights.

Showing for the 2nd time at SA Fashion week, this year Urban Zulu has brought in high profile celebrities such as Jessica Nkosi, Sello Maake ka Ncybe, Luthando Shosha, Judith Sephuma and many more.

“We wanted to break away form the usual size 28 and stay true to the African man and woman, and what best to use well-known faces” says Papy.

For the Autum/Winter SA Fashion Week range, Urban Zulu is merging both the historic capes and cloaks and modern day designs to come up with a mind blowing fashion statement of over 25 garments and using South African celebrities

See the show on Thursday 22 October, at 22:00.

Tickets available at Computicket or visit SA Fashion Week.
