Chilli con carne

A great spicy meal to warm you from the inside, simple and easy to make.

500 g beef mince

½ onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, chopped

15 ml (1 T) chilli powder

1 x can chopped chilli tomatoes (400 g)

1 x can baked bean in chilli sauce (400 g)

1 x can tomato purée (400 g)

  1. Heat large saucepan over medium-high heat, add beef, onion and garlic. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until beef is crumbled and no longer pink.
  2. Stir in chilli powder. Add tomatoes, chilli baked beans and tomato purée and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, simmer for 10 minutes.
