Ivory Coast has secured their place in the final but who will they face on Sunday night?

Wednesday evening saw the Ivory Coast stomp their way to the AFCON final with a 3-1 victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo.

A 20-minute strike by African footballer of the year, Yaya Toure, put the Elephants in the lead but it would be short-lived as the Ivorians conceded a penalty causing the DRC to come back to level the score.

A goal by AS Roma's Gervinho in the 41st minute of the game ensured a lead for the Ivorians and Kanon's strike in the 68th minute proved to be the nail in DRC's coffin which ensured the 1992 champions a spot in the Sunday night final.

Tonight, Ghana and Equatorial Guinea will be dueling for a chance to play at the Estadio de Bata on Sunday night.

Kick off will be at 21:00.

The losing team will then face DRC in a 3rd and 4th position playoff on Saturday at the Nuevo Estadio de Malabo at 20:00.
