A couple in Texas, USA are suing wedding photographer who allegedly printed “poor n***** party” at the bottom of their event photos.

The newlyweds, who do not wish to be identified, hired a photo booth so guests could get their pictures taken. The bride's sister noticed the racial slur but chose not to tell the couple on their special day.

After discovering the slur the couple, who are both black, called James Evans of Premier Photography for an apology – only for Evans to allegedly reply: "Sue me."

The couple's lawyer Cathy Hale said: "Anybody would find this caption offensive. I'm offended by it. I don't want to say it."

The couple are now are suing Evans and Premier Photography for negligence and mental anguish, as well as breach of contract for a memory stick of photos they allegedly never received.

Evans has denied all allegations.

Hale told Click2Houston that her clients didn't want to file a lawsuit, but finally decided to press charges after Evans 'did nothing' about the racist comments.
