I didn’t feel like they had my best interest at heart- Denise Zimba.

Fans of VUZU show V Enteratainment were not happy when it was announced that one of their favorite presenters Denise Zimba was leaving. Denise herself looked quite emotional and unhappy the day she did her last show almost a month ago. Since her departure from the show Denise has remained mum about why she left, until this morning when she opened up to CliffCentral's Arye Kellman.

Denise told Arye that she didn't feel that the show had her best interests at heart.

“I was bringing in ratings for that company. For me personally‚ I didn’t feel like they had my best interest at heart. For someone who was ranking in the ratings‚ no recognition. No Nothing," she explained.

Denise also expressed her disappointment with her experience with the entertainment industry so far. “I’m fu**ken disappointed in this industry and by the people who run. There’s no credit where credit is due. Thankfully I’ve had specific people who have been in my journey and put me on platforms. No corporate or endorsement deal will ever come my way. I don’t know what it is‚ I don’t know if it’s something but I’m that girl.”

Denise also left her job at SABC1 soapie Generations The Legacy after a year of playing the role of Mary.

She released a new single last week called Lunatic.
