DRUMBEAT showcases only the best in local talent which is why the SAMA-nominated group The Muffinz will perform at this year’s concert. DRUMBEAT, proudly presented by DRUM and Toyota, takes place on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August at the Soweto Theatre in Jabulani, Soweto.

The Muffinz is a new and upcoming South African band that is set to take the music world by storm. The five young artists are already making waves on the pop music scene – and it’s easy to see why. Their music is soulful, fresh, honest and appeals to people of all ages and cultures. And because each member is able to sing and play an instrument, the group’s music is an eclectic mixture of soft jazz, soul, afro-trip and funk. Judging by the Muffinz’s debut album “Have You Heard”, which has already had massive success, there’s no doubt the group will become a force to be reckoned with.

Don’t miss your chance to see these rising stars perform at this year’s DRUMBEAT concert on Saturday, 17 August.

DRUMBEAT is proudly presented by DRUM and Toyota in association with Hilltop Live, Amstel Lager, Mzansi Magic and White Star Super Maize Meal. Alcohol will not be sold to persons under the age of 18. Drink responsibly.

Tickets are available at Computicket and cost R100 for Friday and R250 for Saturday. For more information about DRUMBEAT go to www.drumbeatconcert.co.za or follow DRUMBEAT on Facebook.
