Doug MacRay (affleck) and his gang of bank robbers rule the underworld in a tough Boston neighbourhood. When a bank heist goes wrong they briefly take the manager (hall) hostage. Fearing she'll be able to identify them later MacRay stages a casual meeting to find out how much she has told the FBI – and ends up falling for her. affleck wrote, directed and plays the lead in this gritty, tense and hugely entertaining heist movie. highly recommended!
