Eskom has urged its clients to buy enough electricity as it will be doing some upgrading to the current system used to purchase electricity.

The prepaid Online Vending System (OVS) that is used by our customers to buy electricity tokens will be upgraded and moved to a new hardware platform from Sunday 21 July 2013 to early morning on Monday 22 July 2013.

Downtime and migration activities will start at 18h00 on Sunday until 06h00 on Monday.

We would like to encourage Eskom Prepayment Customers to purchase sufficient electricity before Sunday evening to last them at least until Monday 22 July 2013.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to customers.
