The Soul City Institute and Florence Masebe have smoked a peace pipe.

It seems the Soul City Institute and Florence Masebe have  smoked a peace pipe.

It was recently reported that the Soul City Institute had fired Masebe from her role as Sis Noni, the committed Facility Manager of the Soul City clinic.

And that the veteran actress will not be part of the coming Season 12 of  Soul City – Real television series.

In a carefully worded press release on Tuesday the producers of the popular TV series said Masebe will be part of the production.

John Molefe, Executive, Corporate Services at the Soul City Institute said: “In line with our values, the Soul City Institute has always upheld a position and commitment to ensure that Masebe and her baby’s rights are not traded for anything.”

So, Masebe has committed herself to the shooting schedule of the series, which goes on air in July, despite the fact that she is due to give birth shortly.

“The producers have made every effort to ensure that nothing interferes with her needs and health during her pregnancy and at the time of giving birth,” said Molefe.

This will be the third season in a row in which Masebe reprises the role of Sis Noni.

The last season of Soul City – Its Real, which aired for the first time in 2011, earned the 2nd highest ratings in the country after Generations.
