The movie premiers on April 27, which is also Freedom Day.

Speaking to us, Andrew told us that the premise behind the movie is tell stories how South African-born Indians were also discriminated against during apartheid. "It's about an man, who falls in love with a white woman, and they go through various obstacles in their quest to be together. The film is set in the 1970s and shot in the Free State, because Indians were not allowed to enter Free State after dark without a pass," he tells us.

Andrew says the film aims to give a glimpse into how Indians were treated during the apartheid era, because "there's a misconception out there that it was only black people, who were ill-treated".

One of Mzansi's most recognisable faces, Leleti Khumalo is also part of this movie.
