People who say sex is overrated are not doing it properly, says DJ Fresh

After years in the radio industry DJ Fresh is still relevant. He is currently the host of the morning drive at 5FM.  We popped in for a visit and got to hangout with him and the Fresh@5 team. “I am enjoying being on radio as always. Since I came to the mornings in April from the afternoon drive I have been getting nothing but love from the listeners,” he said.

The show whose target audience is between 16 to late 29 is fun and light-hearted, and makes for a great wake up show. The show’s executive producer Catherine Grenfell loves the show despite having to get in studio at 4 am. “We try to keep things light-hearted and we also interview the kind of guests that we find inspiring for our market. It’s also great that Fresh and the whole team are one big family,” she explained.

Speaking of family, Fresh said that is the one thing that makes him the happiest in life. “I love my family they keep me happy. When they are happy I am a content and satisfied man.”  Fresh and his wife Thabiso have been married for over a decade and their love is still strong.

He shared some of the reasons for their long bliss, “It’s all about great communication. Being open with each other even if it’s with stuff that the other partner may find uncomfortable to hear. It’s also about great sex. People who say sex is overrated are not doing it properly,” he said.

“Thabiso and I have a great sex life!”

Fresh @5 is on weekdays from 5 to 8am.
