Generations actor’s strike is over

A strike by South Africa’s most popular show Generations actors and crew is over.

Recording on the soapie will resume soon.

Almost all the soapie’s cast members had refused to sign new contracts as they did not agree with Mfundi Vundla, executive producer of Generations, about their salary increases.

The strike was prolonged by on-going negotiations.

Actors will also be paid for lost money while they were on strike.
