Every weeknight's episode of Generations: The Legacy will be posted onto YouTube so viewers can catch up.

Generations: The Legacy has made the bold move to broadcast its episodes on YouTube as a way for viewers to catch up on episodes they missed out on.

Every weeknight's episode will be available on YouTube on the same night it airs and will be played in three parts, those episodes will then stay on the channel for the whole week. This past Monday's episode was the first to be hosted on SABC 1's YouTube channel and has garnered over 500 views so far. TimesLive quoted SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago as saying that this move came about through other programmes such as Intersexions and Skeem Saam's success. "We believe that, with some promotion behind it, the seven-day catch-up on TV content of the SABC can build a significant following," said Kganyago. Kganyago would not reveal how much they would be making from the deal with the site. "The exact revenue share is confidential but as an indication it is better than 50/50 in favour of the SABC," he revealed.

If you missed Monday's episode and would like to catch up, here's the first part of it.
