Gospel star Sechaba Pali speaks frankly to DRUM about his substance abuse, womanising ways and how his marriage has survived.

The “bad boy” of gospel is living up to his reputation – yet again!

Sechaba Pali, who’s currently facing a rape charge involving a minor, has been given the boot by his label Gallo Records for being a “troublesome artist”.

This comes barely a year into his three-album deal with the multinational record company. The final straw, it seems, was an incident in Polokwane in which Sechaba was involved in a public tiff with a Gallo product manager.

It has come to DRUM’s attention that the incident took place when Sechaba went to Polokwane on a promotional tour. “In May he was in Polokwane for interviews with three Limpopo-based radio stations and was booked in at the Garden Court Hotel, where he threw several tantrums.”

Apparently Sechaba demanded alcohol and cigarettes. “He insulted his female Gallo product manager in front of the hotel staff when he demanded the alcohol and cigarettes,” the source continues.
