Joyous Celebration in Kimberly

Hard on the heels of their great showing at Peace and Unity concert in Mahikeng the esteemed Joyous Celebration shot for the stars with another gig, perfoming their Joyous 19 album in Kimberly.

Held at Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre, the show was part of Kim-Fest 2015 and opening for the giants of Mzansi Gospel was acts such as Catholic Youth Choir.

Joyous Celebration 19- Back to the Cross is a fresh contemporary take on South African standards that come to life through the remarkably talented singers and instrumentalists.

Said Joyous Celebration co-founder, Lindelani Mkhize, before the show: “We always look forward to giving an exceptional and memorable experience to the people of Kimberley and the Northern Cape.”

The group’s outing in Kimberley happens a year after their member, Thembelihle 'Sukazi' Mbanjwa, died in a car crash while members of the band drove en route to Johannesburg after a gig in Kimberly last year November.

Also on the bill; leading Singing Duo, JAZIEL BROTHERS, who have made a name for themselves as recording artists and producers for crowd pleasers such as Lesego and Jub Jub. They too completely raised the roof with their act.

Said Zikie Molusi who is the organizer of the show: “We had great performances and I loved the rapport amongst the artists. Joyous Celebration will be back in Kimberly in the future.”
