Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye and Themba Tshabalala were released on parole today

They’ve already served four years in jail for culpable homicide. While their release has been received with mixed emotions on social media, some say it’s about time and others say it’s insulting to the families of the four children who died after the reckless drivers ran them over in 2010.

DRUM reached out to Kelly Khumalo, the mother of Jub Jub’s six-year-old son Christian, to find out if she will be granting him visitation rights. She previously said that the day Jub Jub is released from prison she’ll get a restraining order against him.

However, her manager, Linda Moeketsi, said: “Kelly Khumalo is currently focusing on the release of her latest album, My Truth, and the progress of her brand. All personal matters will be dealt with privately.”
