The assault case against AfroPop singer Kelly Khumalo has been postponed.

Daily Sun is reporting that Kelly and her sister Zandi briefly appeared in the Hillbrow Magistrates Court in Joburg yesterday on charges relating to the assault of the wife of Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.

The sisters allegedly attacked Mandisa Meyiwa on Empire Road near the M1 Highway in Joburg.

She was chatting to her husband when the two women stopped their car and allegedly started hitting her.

It’s alleged that they also scratched her face with their nails.

The sisters are out on bail of R500 each and must appear in court again on 13 December.
