Kendrick Lamar has landed in SA

The California-born rapper, Kendrick Lamar, has landed in South Africa for his three-concert tour.

The rapper was spotted at the King Shaka airport.

Kendrick has become the newest most loved hip hop head.

Born in Compton, California, Kendrick discovered his idols Tupac Shakur and Dr. Dre, through the the single "California Love."

The song has influenced a lot of his offerings.

Kendrick’s songs are rooted in his reality and tell the story of a young man who is trying to avoid the magnetic pull off the streets and LA’s notorious.

The Grammy nominated rapper’s three-concert foray on Mzansi soil includes stops are tonight 7th February at the Wave House, Gateway in Durban, then on the 8th February in Johannesburg at Gold Reef City and finally he is Cape Town on 9th February in Bellville Velodrome.
