President Jacob Zuma’s controversial nephew, Khulubuse Zuma, has forked out an estimated R2m on a house in Durban for his Swazi princess, Fikisiwe Dlamini.

According to the Sunday Times, this comes after the 42-year-old businessman spent about R1m two years ago on a Maserati for Dlamini’s birthday.

He also paid 100 head of cattle as lobola for the princess two months ago.

She is the daughter of King Mswati’s late brother, prince Phiwokwakhe Dlamini.

The house in Queens View Place in Umgeni Park, Durban North, is one of the biggest in the road and has sea views. The eThekwini municipal evaluation roll values the property at R2m.

Khulubuse, who along with two other business partners, including Nelson Mandela's grandson, Zondwa Mandela, owned Aurora goldmine. He was accused of destroying infrastructure at the mines and causing the loss of more than 5 300 jobs.
