The seasoned Sepedi news anchor has been fired for fraud.

After allegedly submitting fabricated invoices, the former Kaya, Thobela and YFM news reader was dismissed without a disciplinary hearing by the public broadcaster two weeks ago.

Producer and presenter for Sepedi news on SABC 2 with budding business interests and aspirations for giving back to the community, Kgaphola gave us a glimpse of his charmed life in the August 13 DRUM issue.

According to Sunday World, SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago confirmed Kgaphola’s sacking from all their platforms.

"We can confirm the SABC has terminated the services of Mr Kgapola due to material breach of his employment contract," Kganyago said.

The paper’s attempts to solicit a comment from Kgaphola drew a blank. According to an official Kgaphola had allegedly submitted an invoice claiming money he never worked for. Twitter had suspicions of its own.
