SABC1 Nyan'Nyan presenter, Luyanda Potwana, seems to be a step away from living his Hollywood dream.

Recently, during his interview on Unscripted, Luyanda mentioned that his eyes were set on global stage. And now just a few hours ago on his social media platforms, he made an announcement that he is officially a member of Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Luyanda who left South Africa on Friday last week is currently in Carlifonia, United States.

#Hollywood ?????? Of course I chose a Vanessa Williams STAR — because I've always had a crush on her, all my life ??

Speaking to DRUM from Carlifonia, Luyanda proudly said "this is a big thing for me. It's my first step towards my dreams and it is only a matter of time before I realize my dreams. My focus has always been on global stage. I am more than a Nyan'Nyan presenter, I am a man with dreams, a hard worker and I want people to know that".

Luyanda says he met with Leron Gubler, President and CEO of Hollywood Chamber of Commerce yesterday (Tuesday 20 December), and that brief meeting "has set my wheels in motion".

"I am like a man given 20 seconds with the most powerful man in Hollywood which is worth over R20 Million," he added. Luyanda who lived in the streets of Johannesburg for seven years parking and washing cars, before he got his first big television break, revealed to DRUM that "the plan is to move my career this side and from next year I will be in the United States every two months pushing, but for now I won't divulge more details".
