Mbuso Mandela, the troubled grandson of former president Nelson Mandela, faces rape, assault and child maintenance charges

In a video of former president Nelson Mandela en-route home to the village of Qunu in the Eastern Cape on board a private jet, his grandson Mbuso Mandela, one of his late son Makgatho Mandela's children, is seated on his lap.

Many of his critics now say that Madiba must be turning in his grave, seeing his adored grandson turn into such a problem child.

Mbuso is also rumoured to be battling drug addiction and was reported to have secretly been in and out of Joburg rehabilitation centres.

Mbuso spent nearly two weeks behind bars after being arrested for the alleged sexual assault in August.
