The rain is moments away as we head to the Southern Sun Hyde Park to meet one of Mzansi’s top acting talents and her family.

She’s known to most simply as her character, Mamokete Khuse, a kind and loving mom who has graced our screens in the popular soapie Rhythm City since its inception almost nine years ago.

We begin our chat with the revelation that Connie’s role in the series has finally come to an end.
