Wits University’s #FeesMustFall leader, Mcebo Dlamini, was arrested again on Wednesday morning.

According to SAfm, One of the radio station’s producers received an SMS from Dlamini, who was due to appear on a morning show, explaining why he couldn’t make it. But, Dlamini didn’t say why he was arrested or where he was being taken to. In the SMS, Dlamini suggests there’s a politically-motivated reason behind it, and he blames it on the ANC, saying: “The ANC is playing dirty tricks again.” The outspoken student leader was first arrested in October during the renewed #FeesMustFall protests, where he was charged with theft, assault, public violence and malicious damage to property. He appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s High Court yesterday, but his matter was postponed until June next year.
