300 g pork mince
2,5 ml (½ t) cumin seeds
2,5 ml (½ t) ground coriander
handful parsley, chopped
Sauce
1 onion, chopped
400 g tomato purée
15 ml (1 T) white wine vinegar
15 ml (1T) Worcestershire sauce
15 ml (1T) sugar
5 ml (1 t) paprika
5 ml (1 t) chilli flakes
5 ml (1 t) cayenne pepper
400 g tin baked beans
salt and black pepper
- Place pork, cumin, coriander and parsley in a bowl and mix. Roll mince into the size of golf balls and place in the fridge.
- Place a pan over medium heat, add oil and fry the onion until soft. Add the tomato purée, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the spices and beans and simmer for 10 more minutes.
- Gently drop in the mince balls and simmer for 10 minutes. Season and serve.
