The presenter and actress is set to be involved in this season's Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.

Minnie Dlamini is back in her hometown of Durban, working on what's being called a "shoot of trend-setting proportions".

The presenter and actress is also set to be involved in this season's Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.

She and her team have kept details of these projects on the down-low, serving DRUM coy answers about what the various shoots in Durban are about.

Minnie's been on different locations eThekwini  for a few daysworking on the mysterious yet super-hyped project. One of her shots reveals a super-toned Minnie in traditional Zulu garb and in another picture she shows off her curves in an all-black two piece and an edgy cape.minnieinkzn

US-based agency, Epiphany, and Beautiful Day Productions will reveal all in the first week of September, when the starlet is in New York City for the fashion week.

Minnie's been travelling to London and New York since 2010 trying to establish her brand abroad. She has trained as an intern at major American networks and is in talks with production company, Shed Media (Basketball Wives, Who Do You Think You Are?) among others, about future projects.

Pumza Nohashe, a member of Minnie's management team, says the talented beauty plans to use her skills to improve entertainment in Mzansi: "Most people leave home to make it in the States. You can achieve the same success from home."
