Modimolle monster convicted

Johan Kotze has been found guilty of murder by the High Court in Pretoria reported Sapa.

Judge Bert Bam found Kotze and one of his co-accused, Andries Sithole, guilty of killing Kotze's step-son  Conrad Bonnette,19.

Kotze, Sithole, Pieta Mohlane and Sello Mphaka have been on trial for allegedly murdering Conrad Bonnette, kidnapping, repeatedly raping, and attempting to murder Kotze's wife Ina Bonnette in his Modimolle, Limpopo,

The man dubbed as the Modimolle Monster denied guilt, claiming he could not be held accountable for his actions that day.

Sithole, Mohlane, and Mphaka claimed Kotze threatened to shoot them if they did not co-operate.
