Mokoko’s second chance

Getting medical treatment in the “golden hour” after his heart attack probably saved former Bafana Bafana captain Neil Tovey’s life.

He plays squash at least once a week, runs and cycles and eats a fairly healthy diet.

The former soccer player also goes for medical checkups once a year and tries to live ?a balanced life to manage his stress.

This is why Neil “Mokoko” Tovey didn’t even consider he might be having a heart attack when he felt a pain in his chest while playing squash with his partner, Michelle Hansmeyer (50).
