What’s it about?

A neurotic actor is chewing his nails, worrying he won’t make it to Los Angeles in time to witness the birth of his first child. Then he’s forced to take a useless, bearded palooka with him for the drive!

Who will enjoy it?

Everyone who thinks The Hangover is the coolest buddy comedy ever. Here we have another take on misguided, clumsy friendship as a mismatched couple are forced to spend five days together in a series of cars and have to survive not just each other but the daily catastrophes of the road. They learn that friendship and support can get you through the worst crises, albeit with a grinding of teeth as well as lots of laughs. The language gets rough, drugs are abused and some of the situations are cruel and funny only in a creepy way, so don’t take your conservative auntie – she’ll kill you with your own popcorn.

Wait for DVD?

No. Take your best buddies, or if there’s a drive-in near you, lie on the backseat and stick your feet out the window. You’re going to need fresh air in case you laugh yourself into a coma. Not for anyone who’s easily shocked by daring situations, but it’s a truly cool and stomach-achingly funny fliek. And very naughty.
