Make time in the morning to give thanks

Gratitude reminds us of our blessings and keeps one open to more good things life has to offer. We all have something to be grateful for and if the saying "the things we take for granted someone else is praying for" is anything to go by, one ought to appreciate the good in our lives at all times.

How to invite gratitude in your life: 

  • Keep a gratitude journal and make time in the morning to give thanks for all the things that make you happy.
  • List 5 things you are most grateful for at that very moment.
  • Watch your thoughts and find something positive in every situation, no matter how bad
  •  Surround yourself with positive people
  • Refrain from complaining, gossip and criticism
  • Focus on helping other people
