OutKast is planning a reunion tour; this will be combined with solo albums.

Both Big Boi and Andre 3000 were working on separate solo albums.

OutKast member Big Boi has confirmed plans for his fourth solo album.

Big Boi discussed news of the follow-up to 2012's 'Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors' with Revolt TV, saying: "Look out for that new Big Boi solo record coming...'Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors' and the next one, 'surprise!'".

The group's producer Mr DJ said that the pair were both working at Stankonia Studios in Atlanta and added that going on tour might spark off a new OutKast album.

OutKast will play 40 festivals this summer “to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their unique and influential sound", with the exact dates yet to be announced.

OutKast went on hiatus in 2007 and have not performed together since 2004.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the pair's 1994 debut album 'Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik'.
