A parenting website has been recently launched to help moms cope with the daily challenges of being a parent.

Well-known nappy manufacture brand Huggies has launch the website at a Dainfern, Johannesburg venue, attracting several famous moms who came along with their toddlers.

The launch of the new site, Huggies Momville, was rolled out over the previous three Saturdays of September with each one focusing on moms based in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

Some of the famous moms in attendance include singer Nhlanhla Nciza, stand-up comic Tumi Morake, actresses such as Thembisa Mdoda, Refiloe Madumo, Bonnie Henna and TV and radio personalities like Refiloe Mpakanyane, Mpho Maboi and Carly Fields.

“Huggies knows that pregnancy and being a new mom can be quite scary.

There is so much you need to prepare for before you embark on this amazing new journey of motherhood, plus there is so much information out there that it is easy to get overwhelmed.

This is why Huggies has created Momville, which is a support platform where moms can get advice and interact with other moms who are going through the same experiences,” Huggies said in a statement.

At each of the events, the moms were treated to an afternoon of fun and games including nappy changing races and guessing the number of nappy pins in a glass jar.
