Perfect for one another

IT is said that rain on your wedding day is a blessing from God. As Odwa and Kgomotso Ndungane awoke on the morning of their big day and looked at the heavens, the sky was overcast and rain sprinkled the sofas set out for guests on the sloping green lawns.

Some would have been disappointed with the bad weather, but the misty cool day fitted perfectly with the theme of Camelot at Greensleeves wedding venue in Durban with its medieval castle and chapel. It was everything Kgomotso (28) dreamed of for her white wedding which had the theme of

vintage romance.

“I fell in love with the romance and fairytale setting here at Camelot,” she tells us. “As soon as I saw it I knew there was no need to look anywhere else.” Certainly no one could look anywhere else the moment the beautiful Kgomotso began walking down the aisle.

The starryeyed romantic Odwa (30) – a Springbok and Sharks wing – could not take his eyes off her and a smile crept across his face with each slow step she took down the roseadorned aisle towards him. Kgomotso beamed, her satin and lace gown flaring out behind her. A satin bodice exploded into a train of chiffon and lace with pearl details strewn across the train.
