Ramphela happy with how her party is doing

Agang leader Dr Mamphela Ramphele has put her X voting for her baby in Sea Point library in Cape Town this morning. Mamphela says she’s happy to vote for her newly formed party Agang SA for the first time. Dressed in green  Mamphela arrived at the voting station at 08h00. More than 200 people on the queue were also waiting to put their X where it belong.

Mamphela says she happy and excited to see the number of young people waiting to vote specially the first time voters.

“You know I’ve been in this journey for more than a year now. In 1994 people didn’t think when they were voting but now many people are voting for a change.  They vote for what they think will bring best to the country.”  She says.

Mamphela says even though Agang is new comer she says she’s happy with how her party is doing. “We are here to make our mark. We are closing door to the pain full past and South Africa is going to do what is in a interest of the country,” she says.

Mamphela says she will continue to check voting stations in Philippi, Langa and Gugulethu before she takes her fly to Johannesburg.
