This weekend will be your last opportunity to register for the 2016 municipal elections and to have a say on how services such as water, electricity and sanitation are run in your area.  Voting stations will be open across the country on Saturday (tomorrow) and Sunday between 8 am until 5 pm.

Who should register? If you have not voted before in a municipal election, and you are 18 years old, you are eligible to register. If you have moved from one area to area, you should register again at a voting station near to where you live most of the time.

What do you need? You need to take one of the following - your green barcoded I.D. smartcard I.D. or a temporary Identity Certificate with you. You don’t need proof of residence.
