230 villagers living in La Yerbabuena and La Becerrera in Mexico at the foot of Colimo Voclano have been evacuated and taken to a shelter following an eruption on Saturday.

The Colimo Volcano, also known as the Volcano of Fire by Mexicans blew 483 km west of Mexico City. Dazzling pictures have been published of smoke engulfing the city since Saturday and molten hot lava spewing down the mountain. It is the first major eruption by the volcano since 1913.
